BOGOTA, Aug. 2 (Xinhua) -- Colombia international winger Daniel Ruiz is close to joining CSKA Moscow on loan from Millonarios, according to local media reports.

The 24-year-old traveled to Russia on Saturday to undergo a medical and finalize salary terms, local news outlet FutbolRed reported.

It added that CSKA had agreed to secure Ruiz on a 12-month loan with an option to make the move permanent.

Ruiz has made 94 appearances for Millonarios across all competitions, scoring nine goals and providing 14 assists.

He has been capped three times for Colombia's national team, having made his international debut in a goalless draw with the United States in January 2023. ■
